Director and Founder of GoBritanya Student Accommodation Agency

I opened GoBritanya on principal of providing students with high quality accommodation that meets our guests needs, recognising the necessity for flexibility and plenty of options to cater for everyone. The student experience has changed over the years and we have grown and adjusted along with it to make GoBritanya what it is today.

To keep up with the demand, I have built the GoBritanya family and now we have spread our presence with around the world with teams in Asia, Europe and Middle East.

Having worked in the student accommodation sector for over 10 year, I have developed a broad range of skills from working in different university and education systems in the private and public sector. The education system can be a daunting time, especially for international students, and at GoBritanya, we aim to remove these fears, answer your questions and streamline the experience to ensure you have the best time away from home.

Business Development Manager

She holds a BA in Business Studies and a MA in Near and Middle Eastern Studies from SOAS, University of London. She is native in Turkish, German and speaks elementary Arabic. Hear it from herself:

With more than 8 years international experience in Business Development with an expert background in the student travel industry, it is my passion to work hand in hand with partners from around the globe to pave the way for their students to succeed in their language studies or higher education. As a language school student and later on Master student myself in London many years ago, I am well aware of the challenges to find student accommodation that provides you with a sense of belonging which enables you to face the many challenges of being a student in a big city like London! Building up on my own experience, I am fully committed to make your journey easy whether you study in London, Brighton or Dublin – I’m here for you!

She holds a BA in International Hospitality and Tourism Management from the University of Surrey. She speaks Romanian, English and Spanish. Hear it from herself:

Having been a foreign student in the UK myself, I am particularly drawn to creating the perfect environment for our students. This together with my 5 years of Experience in Operations and International Relations makes this job fit like a glove to me.

Erdem is an expert in IT with many years of working experience.

I have been working at GoBritanya for 3 years now and I can say that it is such a pleasure to be part of such a dynamic industry. My role here at GoBritanya is to organise the company’s webpage and make sure international students have maximum access to all information around student accommodation.

Having been an international student myself I know exactly how it feels when you first come to a foreign country, thousands of miles away from home and from all your friends. I experienced having to move 3 times a month at one point so I clearly know how difficult it is to find a perfect room in a short period of time, how difficult it is to find an agency that truly understand your needs. That’s why my colleagues and I are dedicated to providing a homelike environment with flexible terms of contract for our students from all over the world.

Having worked in the student accommodation industry for 3 years – with a focus on the UK and Ireland – I have come to learn a great deal about the trends that influence the sector, allowing me to put my learnings into action. Having interacted with students as well as accommodation providers, I believe that the sector is ever evolving.

There are many factors at play, most important of which we have come to believe (due to the unprecedented situation) is the safety of students along with the safety of every other person involved. Having said that, at the end of the day, I am here to enable every student’s dream of studying abroad and help them write their journey with as many happy memories as possible.
