The main source of public transport in London revolves around the Underground trains known as the Tube. In the United Kingdom world’s first underground railway opened in 1863 and still continues strongly as a part of our everyday life. We strongly recommend that you plan your journey in advance, there is a chance of your train getting delayed or cancelled due to accidents or signal loss. You can check the alternative route for your journey. Bare in your mind that you don’t need to press the button to open doors, but pay attention: you have to in DLR and trains! Additionally, wait until those who are leaving the train, before you get on. Sometimes tubes stations are closed at midnight, so make sure before you go out check the for the alternative routes.

The second main source of public transport in London revolves around the buses. Buses mainly used for short distance travelling around the London. There are night buses operated in London and 24-hour buses.
