Short-Term Bookings

How it works:

  • Send us the ‘Booking Form’ and your ‘Passport Copy’ to book@gobritanya.com
  • Receive Invoice & Tenancy Agreement
  • Pay the £60 registration fee & £200 holding fee within 48 hours (holding fee will be deducted off your first instalment of Rent if your booking is not cancelled)
  • Sign the Tenancy Agreement
  • Pay outstanding balance (or min. 1st instalment) 4 weeks prior to arrival
  • Receive your confirmation letter
  • Ready to go!

 


Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancel 4 weeks prior to check in, £260 penalty fee applies
  • Cancel 0-4 weeks prior to check in, no refund made

 


Cancellation Policy for Visa Refusal:

  • Cancel 2 weeks prior to check in, holding fee of £260 non-refundable.
  • Cancel 0-2 weeks prior to check in – 2 weeks accommodation fee + holding fee of £260 non-refundable.

  1. Can I go out anytime of the day or at least use the common areas in the residence while I self-isolate?
    Unfortunately you cannot go out or use the common areas. Remember that self-quarantine lasts 10 days (UK) or 14 days (Ireland), and it is best to follow all the Government rules in order to ensure yours and everyone else’s safety.
  2. What do I do if I start having COVID-19 symptoms while self-isolating in the residence (UK)?
    You should call reception, and then 111 to arrange a test to be sent to you. If you start feeling worse, please make sure to call emergency services on 999 straightaway.
  3. What do I do if I start having COVID-19 symptoms while self-isolating in the residence (Ireland)?
    If you start to feel very unwell, phone your GP. If your GP is not available please call the emergency services on 112 or 999. You should also let reception at your residence know.

  6. What am I supposed to do before I arrive in Dublin?

  7. What happens if I have to self-quarantine in the residence after flying to the UK?
    You are able to self-quarantine in any of our residences. Our team will help you take your trash out, deliver your food to your door. They also provide mental support in case the you’re going through a tough time during quarantine.
  8. How do I buy food while in self-quarantine?
    All UK supermarkets have apps and websites where you can order online and pay using your debit/ credit card.
  9. How do I use the kitchen if I am sharing it with other students?
    When you check in, you should ask for the kitchen schedule from reception. You will have to use the kitchen according to a well organised schedule, and then make sure you clean all the appliances you have used.
  10. Who can I contact if something needs to be fixed in my room?
    Make sure you take the reception phone number and that you call in order to report a fault in your room. Do not go to reception in person in this case. Some of the residences have APPS and you can request everything online.
  11. How do I get from the Airport to my accommodation in Dublin?

  13. What happens when I arrive at my student residence and I have to self-isolate?
    Reception will welcome you and ask you to have your temperature checked. After this you will receive all the info you will need for you to self-isolate such the kitchen schedule and most important instructions on how to download and use the ‘self-isolation support app’ which will enable you to easily book a food delivery to be dropped in front of your door, laundry service and waste removal. Please remember that you will have to stay in your room for the entire self-isolation period as required, you will have all the support from us and the reception during this time!
